the subject's name is "me". yup. me. so me happily went to school, everything was bright and cheery and me was feeling not too bad. thenn... assembly came. me reached the hall a little bit late, and had to sit near the back of the class instead of in front. and blehbleh guess who sat behind the ill-fated me. gahgahgah. the big -censored-. okay i'll just call this person the BEEEEG. cuz she's so beeeeg. so basically the beeg sat behind poor me, and then gawd. me was disgusted. and somemore me's school hall is very small,o everyone had to squeeze together. I got my results! CAP was 4.3 which means I improved from last sem’s 4.11 haha. Actually my dad promised me a guitar (for last sem) which he hasn’t fulfilled yet… and now he’s saying that he’ll get me a decent phone to reward me for these 2 awesome sems. I feel cheated =.=
Oh oh somemore he wants to get me some singing lessons at Lee Wei Song School of Music but then I dunwan leh. I mean, it’s nice to sing, but I dun like to sing in front of random strangers =.= even if I were to take singing lessons, I’d rather go to obmusicforest (: yknow, Ocean Butterflies… haha actually I wanna record my own demo… it’s one of the things I wanna do before I die… XD cool yea.

Sprouse Bros! wow they look so formal now! XD they’re cute, in the fun way (okay I’m not talking sense here, am i) So basically Dylan is older than Cole by 15 minutes, and they’re identical twins. But somehow now, at the age of 16, they’re not that identical anymore. They look kinda different. One obvious point is that Cole has a mole on his chin, which Dylan doesn’t have. He also has a smaller build than Dylan (a.k.a. he’s thinner), and Cole is taller than Dylan by quite a lot. Weird eh, seeing that Dylan is older. But well, I guess 15 minutes doesn’t matter much huh. Who do I like more? I have to say it has to be Dylan. I love his dress sense (though Cole’s appeals to me too), and he seems like the twin with a better sense of humour. (:

Actually you can call it a bad start, seeing that I did not start from the first book… I started by reading the graphic novel (which means comic book la) and then reading Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception, which (if I’m not wrong) is the 5th book. Heh. Great way to start a fantastic series eh.
Meanwhile I’m still waiting for the last book from The Keys to the Kingdom series to be out. Yknow, the series is by Garth Nix! Aha, another book recommendation for you guys again. The last book’s called Lord Sunday. If you are wondering why the title is so oddly named, let me show you the names of the books in this series:

Hi, I'm back from another dormant period.
So yeah, I'm back, with more trouble and more things to think about.
What would you do if you had a friend that you liked, but he just loves to say stuff like 'stay out of relationships' and all that shit and you are actually stupid enough to listen to his crap so you stopped liking him. And then like half a year later he tells you that he liked you that time and you should have known. WTF. This kind of thing never fails to make me think of what we could have been. And now we aren't even talking to each other anymore. Is our friendship (a.k.a. failed relationship) so fragile? Why did we rush into things so hurriedly? Our friendship developed too quickly, much to quickly for my liking. Why did you lie to me all that time? And why couldn't you continue the lie? Why did you tell me you liked me when i least expected it? Why are you doing this to me?

Was full of ups and downs, to say the least, and I was like pretty lethargic most of the time. Quite a lot of people wished me happy birthday, including Mr V and Ms Chua (History) lol.
So yeah basically the largest surprise of that day was when Sharmaine and Dayna like took a birthday cake from under the table and wished me happy birthday lol. So funny. The cake had a small toy car on it... I was playing with it afterwards(: But before that they sang happy birthday to me and that was pretty awesome since the guys also sang along (though like kuchmuch slower, like some funeral march). Then one of the dudes got some party popper thingamajigy and popped it. Haha. Classic.
Whole thing was rather messy. The cake slipped from Sharmaine's tissue and she managed to catch it after it bounced around a few times on her hand =.= and we kinda dirtied esther's table a bit (:
Oh and now, teacher's day.
Pretty uneventful, i should say. The NUSHS celebration was weird, so nvm about that. Ms Kong got Ms Fun-loving! LOL.
So then I went to RGPS and saw a few of my exclassmates. We pretty much just ate and talked for a bit, then Ni Qian bought me a notebook from the bookshop and I bought her the same one too... Haha so boliao right?
Then I went for astro... It was so funny. Yichen went to the school vending machine, inserted 70 cents of coins and bought the potato chips. Then the machine screwed and gave him THREE packets of potato chips... And he got 70 cents of change. LOL. Some people just have it lucky. But anyway Yichen left the other 2 potato chips packets in the machine so I (being greedy) grabbed one. And guess who got the other one? BNB. =.= Then the other guys were like teasing him ): But it was funny anyway.
We went to NUS for the observation session. But since the sky was so cloudy and we could hardly see Jupiter, Mr Lim ordered me, Su Hang, Yichen, Nicholas, Yu Jian and Hong Jie to sit near our observation equipment to guard them lol. (: So we just blasted music and played games on our handphones. I was pretty darn jealous of Nicholas Neo's iPhone... XD

Its been a rather confusing few weeks. There's ppl being hypocrites, putting on facades that they are putting on facades (know what i mean?) and I just kinda don't really know who to trust anymore. And whoa, there are so many irritating and loser ppl in the sch... What is the world coming to?
Ohyeah, and on thursday joel and nicholas (i think) pushed hongjie to me. Literally. How embarrassing is that? Gah I got so paiseh that I gave hongjie a kick. Haha por hongjie. He probably didn't deserved it anw.
Oh then PE. Saw the 203 boys do their shuttle run. Hmm. Saw joel do the shuttle run. Frankly, I was rather impressed by the speed at first. but then he kinda botched it at the last part and spained his ankle or something. Lol. What can I say. XDD Life's GOOD.
Oh yeah, i'm still a bit worried abt my math proj arrangement. For the less informed (which means u minions that i dun bother to talk to that much), i dunno if i shld go with est & sher or daryl & ian (the juniors). But now i think i've found a compromise. Haha can't leak the plan yet. Tell u guys out there later. XDD

Nightmare Before Christmas original poem
It was late one fall in Halloweenland,
and the air had quite a chill.
Against the moon a skeleton sat,
alone upon a hill.
He was tall and thin with a bat bow tie;
Jack Skellington was his name.
He was tired and bored in Halloweenland
"I'm sick of the scaring, the terror, the fright.
I'm tired of being something that goes bump in the night.
I'm bored with leering my horrible glances,
And my feet hurt from dancing those skeleton dances.
I don't like graveyards, and I need something new.
There must be more to life than just yelling,
'Boo!'"
Then out from a grave, with a curl and a twist,
Came a whimpering, whining, spectral mist.
It was a little ghost dog, with a faint little bark,
And a jack-o'-lantern nose that glowed in the dark.
It was Jack's dog, Zero, the best friend he had,
But Jack hardly noticed, which made Zero sad.
All that night and through the next day,
Jack wandered and walked.
He was filled with dismay.
Then deep in the forest, just before night,
Jack came upon an amazing sight.
Not twenty feet from the spot where he stood
Were three massive doorways carved in wood.
He stood before them, completely in awe,
His gaze transfixed by one special door.
Entranced and excited, with a slight sense of worry,
Jack opened the door to a white, windy flurry.
Jack didn't know it, but he'd fallen down
In the middle of a place called Christmas Town!
Immersed in the light, Jack was no longer haunted.
He had finally found the feeling he wanted.
And so that his friends wouldn't think him a liar,
He took the present filled stockings that hung by the fire.
He took candy and toys that were stacked on the shelves
And a picture of Santa with all of his elves.
He took lights and ornaments and the star from the tree,
And from the Christmas Town sign, he took the big letter C.
He picked up everything that sparkled or glowed.
He even picked up a handful of snow.
He grabbed it all, and without being seen,
He took it all back to Halloween.
Back in Halloween a group of Jack's peers
Stared in amazement at his Christmas souvenires.
For this wondrous vision none were prepared.
Most were excited, though a few were quite scared!
For the next few days, while it lightninged and thundered,
Jack sat alone and obsessively wondered.
"Why is it they get to spread laughter and cheer
While we stalk the graveyards, spreading panic and fear?
Well, I could be Santa, and I could spread cheer!
Why does he get to do it year after year?"
Outraged by injustice, Jack thought and he thought.
Then he got an idea. "Yes. . .yes. . .why not!"
In Christmas Town, Santa was making some toys
When through the din he heard a soft noise.
He answered the door, and to his surprise,
He saw weird little creatures in strange disguise.
They were altogether ugly and rather petite.
As they opened their sacks, they yelled, "Trick or treat!"
Then a confused Santa was shoved into a sack
And taken to Halloween to see mastermind Jack.
In Halloween everyone gathered once more,
For they'd never seen a Santa before
And as they cautiously gazed at this strange old man,
Jack related to Santa his masterful plan:
"My dear Mr. Claus, I think it's a crime
That you've got to be Santa all of the time!
But now I will give presents, and I will spread cheer.
We're changing places I'm Santa this year.
It is I who will say Merry Christmas to you!
So you may lie in my coffin, creak doors, and yell, 'Boo!'
And please, Mr. Claus, don't think ill of my plan.
For I'll do the best Santa job that I can."
And though Jack and his friends thought they'd do a good job,
Their idea of Christmas was still quite macabre.
They were packed up and ready on Christmas Eve day
When Jack hitched his reindeer to his sleek coffin sleigh,
But on Christmas Eve as they were about to begin,
A Halloween fog slowly rolled in.
Jack said, "We can't leave; this fog's just too thick.
There will be no Christmas, and I can't be St. Nick."
Then a small glowing light pierced through the fog.
What could it be?. . .It was Zero, Jack's dog!
Jack said, "Zero, with your nose so bright,
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
And to be so needed was Zero's great dream,
So he joyously flew to the head of the team.
And as the skeletal sleigh started its ghostly flight,
Jack cackled, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
'Twas the nightmare before Christmas, and all though the house,
Not a creature was peaceful, not even a mouse.
The stockings all hung by the chimney with care,
When opened that morning would cause quite a scare!
The children, all nestled so snug in their beds,
Would have nightmares of monsters and skeleton heads.
The moon that hung over the new-fallen snow
Cast an eerie pall over the city below,
And Santa Claus's laughter now sounded like groans,
And the jingling bells like chattering bones.
And what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But a coffin sleigh with skeleton deer.
And a skeletal driver so ugly and sick
They knew in a moment, this can't be St. Nick!
From house to house, with a true sense of joy,
Jack happily issued each present and toy.
From rooftop to rooftop he jumped and he skipped,
Leaving presents that seemed to be straight from a crypt!
Unaware that the world was in panic and fear,
Jack merrily spread his own brand of cheer.
He visited the house of Susie and Dave;
They got a Gumby and Pokey from the grave.
Then on to the home of little Jane Neeman;
She got a baby doll possessed by a demon.
A monstrous train with tentacle tracks,
A ghoulish puppet wielding an ax,
A man eating plant disguised as a wreath,
And a vampire teddy bear with very sharp teeth.
There were screams of terror, but Jack didn't hear it,
He was much too involved with his own Christmas spirit!
Jack finally looked down from his dark, starry frights
And saw the commotion, the noise, and the light.
"Why, they're celebrating, it looks like such fun!
They're thanking me for the good job that I've done."
But what he thought were fireworks meant as goodwill
Were bullets and missiles intended to kill.
Then amidst the barrage of artillery fire,
Jack urged Zero to go higher and higher.
And away they all flew like the storm of a thistle,
Until they were hit by a well guided missile.
And as they fell on the cemetery, way out of sight,
Was heard, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good
night."
Jack pulled himself up on a large stone cross,
And from there he reviewed his incredible loss.
"I thought I could be Santa, I had such belief"
Jack was confused and filled with great grief.
Not knowing where to turn, he looked toward the sky,
Then he slumped on the grave and he started to cry.
And as Zero and Jack lay crumpled on the ground,
They suddenly heard a familiar sound.
"My dear Jack," said Santa, "I applaud your intent.
I know wreaking such havoc was not what you meant.
And so you are sad and feeling quite blue,
But taking over Christmas was the wrong thing to do.
I hope you realize Halloween's the right place for you.
There's a lot more, Jack, that I'd like to say,
But now I must hurry, for it's almost Christmas day."
Then he jumped in his sleigh, and with a wink of an eye,
He said, "Merry Christmas," and he bid them good bye.
Back home, Jack was sad, but then, like a dream,
Santa brought Christmas to the land of Halloween.

okay recently bradley introduced me to this fantastic channel called eurosport. hahas theres like so much more other than F1... like Le Mans, Motocross, i think there's A1 too. yesterday i watched Int'l Formula Masters. hmm. not bad. its like a less-glamourized version of F1, albeit with the lack of pit stops. there's also fewer laps to be completed. so i finished watching the Valencia race in slightly more than half an hour. quite a nice change to F1, which takes like, 2 hours?
lawls so weird. at the start of the Valencia race, i saw this name on 8th place (i think): Van Der Drift.
i somehow attached myself to that name... thought the guy would do well...
i was right... Van Der Drift got 1st place lol... 2nd place was some Schlegelsomething dude... cant even pronounce his name properly lols... let alone spell it. XD
hahas. so cool. and im looking forward to F1 Monaco gp and this indianapolis 500 thing that bradley was talking abt.

rather pissed that i missed the Turkish Grand Prix... >< went to malaysia and i forgot to record the grand prix. darn. OMGGGGG! Kimi Raikkonen (<3) did not win >< he got 3rd and omg heikki kovalainen didnt even get any game points. 12th i think. kimi screwed up heikki's tyres and the stupid safety car screwed things up more. and the crash with nakajima in it... lawl. that one was cool. i love crashes. <3
oh yeah i knew a new junior today. Bradley aka bugman. WOWEEEEE. I didnt know that he was an F1 fanatic too... yesss im so elated now. havent talked to anyone about F1 for a longlong time. and YESSSSSS bugman's a fan of Ferrari too! Ferrari pwnz!
darn it lah now mr valles want to meet me at the staffroom to get some competition form. so err i goin to afk for a while and tell shermaine to take care of my com in the com lab lol. i'll brb in a few minutes XD

just decided to update this half dead blog.
yeah, friday, saw someone (think it was andre) pull down zi kai's pants. yeah, u didnt hear wrongly. zi kai's pants were pulled down right in the middle of the canteen. bleah. the saving grace is that his basketball (i think) jersey was quite long, so couldnt really see anything.
yeah, so life's been kinda boring. but had fun during astro yeah. zundian spouting nonsense, chee seng chatting, and me taking the chance to abuse my authority and scold some juniors. felt real good. oh, and i heard from su hang that yu jian was asking where i was. HE MISSED ME!!! hahas jkjk. XD
gah, jackie moved house. so i kinda lost 1 neighbour. BOO.
and Formula one... absolutely fantastic. massa won the bahrain grand prix, kimi (!) got second, and kubica got third i think. din finish watching... was mugging phyz. but i had that strange feeling that kimi raikkonen was purposely letting massa win, and blocking kubica for him. very sad, but i guess that's a ferrari strategy. since kimi won in the Sepang grand prix, and got 8th in the melbourne grand prix, the ferrari dudes probably thought that massa could do with a few more match points. kimi already had 11 points liao, so being second got him 8 points, making the total to 19 points. he's at the top of the leaderboard. XD
okay new paragraph cos i think its getting a bit wordy. XD massa drives rather recklessly, in my opinion. i think kimi is real skilful, since he had to make sure he didnt overtake massa while helping massa to block kubica. im quite sure that its a strategy, since kimi didnt even look like he wanted to overtake felipe, even though there were so many opportunities. and just forget about kubica already. i dun want him to win for some reason. XD
nico rosberg and heikki (!) kovalainen have chances of making it big. i dun believe in lewis hamilton. the way he drives... the way he looks... his lack of respect when he overtook someone... its just not befitting of a world-class driver. the worse is, look at how he abuses his tyres... locking his front tyres so much... wearing them out like crazy... he's the only F1 driver i can see that has this problem. no offence to any lewis hamilton fans out there.
my fave F1 drivers, (as u can tell) are:
Kimi Raikkonen - Ferrari Team (he's a Finn!)
Heikki Kovalainen - Mercedes McLaren Team (he's a Finn too!)
Nico Rosberg - Williams Toyota Team (dunno about him, i think he's german or something)
ah, all have potential. btw i think u are sick of my ranting about F1 by now, so i'll stop now. (:

I am scared of uncertainties. the greatest uncertainty is love, life and death. I freaked out when i thought about dying. When i die, i know i'm not going to be reincarnated (although im a buddhist, i dun believe in it.). but even if i was reincarnated, i wouldnt know anyways. so this is my only life to work with. and im screwing it all up. after im dead... it's all gone. everything's gone. people will never remember u unless u something really great... and i have done nothing. for the past 14 years, i've been wasting my life away... hurting people when i'm not supposed to... not being down-to-earth... all the sins i commited... and i'm already 14 even if i live till 70, i have already wasted away one-fifth of my lifetime.
death is scary, and everyone faces it. this is the point where bravery is thrust upon people who can't help it, and that bravery to face death, is really... huge. even people who didnt want to die, but had to die anyway, i believe that they too possess some form of true bravery in some way.
but me? i hide behind a facade, in all my self-delusions, wasting my life away. living in itself is a luxury, and is rare, cos most of the time, u would be dead. for the next million years or so, just dead, dead. nothing to it. gawd, thats so freaky in the way that it makes me scared and peaceful at the same time. ><
another thing i've been thinking... i must increase my pain threshold. and learn to bear with people and their insults. i know i've been receiving countless insults... and what i have to tell some people is that if they want to insult me, say it to my face. don't talk behind my back and dont try to associate it to something just to demoralize me. I know u guys insult me... talk behind my back... and everytime i see u, there's that facade again. i mean, if u insult and gossip about me that much, why even bother to put on a facade?
today, i had a rather bitter but short argument about religion. i do respect my religion and others too, but in my opinion, rules are meant to be changed, and to be broken eventually. i know its okay to argue about religion, but why do u have to put in the snide remarks? is that supposed to be an underhand means to lower my morale, and to win that argument? really... insensitivity should be considered a sin. whatever u said to me... i heard from another person... im trying my best in everything, but why is everyone trying to demoralize me? u can embrace various religions, respect them, and i know that ur religion will not curse u or anything by doing that. after all, family is as equally important as, or sometimes even more important than religion.
and promises can be broken. isnt that exactly what's on your mind now?
i received another insult today. some person said this to me.
"you don't know how to love properly."
this got me thinking. love is complicated, and stuff like that, we all know. but how do u determine whether someone loves greatly or not. the word 'properly' is not even suitable for this context. how would u determine whether someone loves 'properly' or not, seeing that love is such a complicated thing? how can someone not love 'properly'?
everyone is different. so everyone has a different perspective of love and how to love. so its just not right to say "you don't know how to love properly" to anyone. NEVER JUDGE ANYONE UNTIL YOU HAVE JUDGED YOURSELF FIRST. how can u insult them about something to close to their hearts? even if u insult someone about their family, work, looks or anything else, insulting about someone's capability to love is just about equal to encompassing everything that is worth insulting, and insulting that person darn badly.
and furthermore, the person who insulted me was someone who was close to my heart. it just becomes much much worse when someone u care about insults u. btw, if i were to judge that person by his/her capability to love 'properly', that person doesnt fare that well either. neglected relationships, high insensitivity, little or no self-reflection, etc... u name it, u got it. okayye maybe not that bad, but its very wrong to judge a person's capability to love. it's immoral. and that person who insulted me probably doesnt remember that he/she said it. that fleeting moment... that passing remark... those few words strung together... that's a powerful impact, enough to end even the most lasting friendship/relationship.
nevertheless, as the sayng goes, things that dont kill u, make u stronger. so i guess that everything that im going through now is simply for bracing myself for the cruel world that is just ahead of me. (:
i think im gonna end this post now... i gtg.
just a last thought:
la forza del destino --- the force of destiny, something that i know i can never avoid.
